Step 1 A - Maturity And Capability Modeling

Use the the Slim-GIM-Step-1-EMM-Enterprise-Maturity-Model.xlsx template to quickly measure your Enterprise GIS Maturity / Capability.
  1. Score each critical success factor on the "Maturity Scoring" tab.
  2. Results are presented on the "Results" tab.

Contact us for a copy of the Enteprise Maturity Model Template.
Advanced Options
  1. Add success factors you feel you should track (right from the start).
  2. Skip items that you don't feel apply to your Organization. For an example, see 2. Corporate Culture & Philosophy item number 6.
  3. Apply weighted averages if you want to give importance to certain factors.
  4. Fine, you don't like my model then try using one of these instead:

  • Even Keel Maturity Model for Enterprise GIS
