The model is a basic spreadsheet. It targets 58 enterprise success factors designed to measure organizational leadership, structure, people, process, data & technology. For each factor, maturity and likelihood are estimated using the following 5 levels:
Maturity
1 – Ad Hoc
2 – Planned / Early Stage
3 – Partially implemented
4 – Enterprise
5 – Optimized
Likelihood
5 – Extremely likely
4 – Likely
3 – Neutral
2 – Unlikely
1 – Extremely unlikely
Factors are evaluated based on current maturity and the estimated likelihood that your organization can move the needle on a factor before the next scheduled assessment.
Tip: design enterprise initiatives around groups of factors that are most likely to improve.
